Houston Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty)
The nose is the most prominent feature of the human face. For many people, it is simply a part of their good looks and rarely merits a second thought. For others, though, the nose is a constant embarrassment. Nose reshaping, or rhinoplasty, can change the size or shape of the nose to give it a more pleasing appearance. The nasal bones, cartilage and soft tissues are reshaped to improve the external contour, and large nostrils may be reduced. The procedure is done on an outpatient basis under IV sedation. Incisions are made inside the nostrils so they aren't visible.
Houston Brow lift
A forehead lift or "browlift" is used to correct a drooping browline (eyebrow area) reducing the horizontal lines and furrows (worry lines) that often make a person appear angry, sad or tired. The procedure creates a refreshed, youthful appearance to the forehead area above the eyes. Muscles and tissue that droop or crease are removed or corrected to smooth the skin on the forehead, reducing frown lines and raising the eyebrows. Dr. Adam performs both traditional and endoscopic browlifts, and talks with each patient before surgery to determine the most appropriate method.
Houston Facelift
The face you see in the mirror every morning is a vital part of your identity. Over time, gravity, sun exposure, dry air, and stress take their toll on people's faces and necklines. Jowls can develop under the jaw line with folds and fat deposits. Sometimes creases begin to form between the nose and the mouth.
A facelift can considerably reduce these signs of aging by removing excess fat, tightening the underlying muscles, and redraping the skin around the neck and face. Facelifts can be done alone or in conjunction with another procedure such as a forehead lift, eyelid surgery, or nose reshaping. If your problem areas are limited to the neck, a more conservative procedure known as a "necklift" will be recommended. In some cases, a facelift can reduce the outward signs of aging by 10 or 15 years.
Houston Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is designed to remove excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. The procedure can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below the eyes. Each procedure usually takes about 1 hour and can be performed in the office using local anesthesia.
